Have you heard about amigurumi?

Amigurumi is a Japanese knitting or crochet method that is used to make little stuffed toys

This is probably one of my favorite forms of crochet.

Honestly, if I crocheted faster I would have hundreds of these little toys in my house.

They make the perfect gift for kids (and adults) and are relatively inexpensive to make depending on the type of yarn you use.

Did I mention how cute they are?!

But don’t take my word for it. Keep scrolling and check out all the cuteness!

  1. Those cows are adorable!! I am so into Japanese kawaii culture so I hopped on this post as soon as I saw the title! I’ve never thought about crocheting but this post makes me wanna learn. I’d love to make these for my son. Thank you for teaching me about amigurumi—never knew that was the word for this aesthetic ❤️❤️

    1. That’s awesome! I just learned about Kawaii culture myself, but I’ve always liked making amigurumi (even before I knew the technical term). I think the hardest part of crochet is learning how to hold the hooks, but the stitches to make these are pretty basic. Once you get the basics down those cows are as good as made!
