Have you heard about amigurumi?
Amigurumi is a Japanese knitting or crochet method that is used to make little stuffed toys
This is probably one of my favorite forms of crochet.
Honestly, if I crocheted faster I would have hundreds of these little toys in my house.
They make the perfect gift for kids (and adults) and are relatively inexpensive to make depending on the type of yarn you use.
Did I mention how cute they are?!
But don’t take my word for it. Keep scrolling and check out all the cuteness!
9 of The Cutest Free Crochet Amigurumi Patterns for Beginners

1.Gingerbread Bunny
Who doesn’t love a bunny?! This would make a great gift for Easter.

2.Cute Cows
These cows are so adorable. I really like how they showed the different sizes that you can make with this pattern.

3.Classic Teddy Bear
These classic teddy bears are really cute and nostalgic looking. They would be great comfort toys for a little boy or girl.

4.Mr. Furu, The Fox
Ok, so I have a confession to make…I really like foxes. I have two crochet foxes that I made for my kids, but I really made them for me.

5.Tiny Puppy
What’s cuter than a puppy? A tiny puppy! I wouldn’t recommend this toy for smaller kids because of it’s small size.

6.Friendly Grace
Before I had my daughter this never would have made the list, but she’s into baby dolls now and this would make a cute addition to her collection.

7. Baby Unicorn
Unicorns are all the rage right now. You can’t go wrong with this cute pattern.

8. Melman and Pi
These guys are so cute together. They would make a cute and heartfelt baby shower gift.

9. Elephant
This is a crochet ragdoll toy. It’s made a little differently than traditional amigurumi toys. If your not comfortable making magic circles and crocheting in the round this is a perfect starter project.

Alright that’s the end of the round-up!
I hope you have been inspired by all cuteness to pull out those crochet hooks and make something your kids will love!

Those cows are adorable!! I am so into Japanese kawaii culture so I hopped on this post as soon as I saw the title! I’ve never thought about crocheting but this post makes me wanna learn. I’d love to make these for my son. Thank you for teaching me about amigurumi—never knew that was the word for this aesthetic ❤️❤️
That’s awesome! I just learned about Kawaii culture myself, but I’ve always liked making amigurumi (even before I knew the technical term). I think the hardest part of crochet is learning how to hold the hooks, but the stitches to make these are pretty basic. Once you get the basics down those cows are as good as made! Thanks for commenting.
These are so cute! I love the Fox.
